Lately the Boyfriend and I have been getting an increase in the spamming on AOL Instant Messenger with the crazy messages from strangers. This wouldn’t be so bad if they were, say, legit people actually shooting by to say “Hey” or somehow knew us through the internet or in real life. But no, these bots posing as people keep messaging both of us with messages like:
“Hey.22, bisexual party girl on my web cam now.Come join me at [RANDOM WEB CAM SEX WEBSITE]“
Initially I gave the Boyfriend endless shit about this since he was the only one getting the messages. I mean, seriously, what was he doing online? I mean, besides his raging porn addiction (joking)? But then, out of the blue the other day I got a hot message of:
“heya.. 21/Female/pix.. do you want to chat with me??? not here ok? i have a webcam thingy in my room.. its at this website goto [OTHER WEB CAM SITE]Â i’ll be waiting for ya hun”
Or what of this gem:
“hey whatup! can you please visit my webcam i’ve been waiting for somebody to chat with me all day! GOTO [SAME OBNOXIOUS WEBCAM WEBSITE]“
Anyone else been having this problem with all this curious females who have a hard-on for web cams all the sudden? Or are the Boyfriend and I simply special? Or perhaps our server admin. friend decided to have fun at work and sign us up for all these places.
