Where a pause in conversation is not appropriate

Mack is watching Shaft while I am working on logos for a client. I have my headphones on and am vaguely chatting with a friend online. Out of the corner of my eye I can see what is happening on the wall where the movie is being projected. (SPOILER FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN/ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THIS MOVIE!)

Me (10:23PM): OMG Christian Bale just got SHOT.

N (10:23PM): WHAT!!!!!11

Me (10:24PM): omg, sorry, MOVIE.

    Okay, I had two reactions to this post. The first was to laugh out loud. The second: Christian Bale is in Shaft? Man, I had absolutely no desire to ever see that movie. Until now :P

    @Michelle: I agree about Shaft. I was completely ignoring the movie (since hello? Shaft) and looked up and was like “ZOMG CHRISTIAN BALE THIS MOVIE DOES NOT SUCK ANYMORE.” Unfortunately I was doing projects while Mack watched so I didn’t really get to see much. :P
