Me: Which cat is on my elbow?
Mack: Take a guess.
Me: Brutus.
Mack: Good guess.
Me: It was the soft, feminine fur.

I used to have a cat like that. He had fur that was so soft that you just wanted to stroke him all day. Unfortunately, he didn’t come into my life until he was an old cat. But at least I know his last years were spent being pampered & loved.
Thanks for the comment. My mother loves the saying & the design.

HA! I thought you wrote “soft feminine purr” and you were implying that Brutus was gay.

haha yeah, well, implying would be a lot more subtle than I am with regards to my cats and their sexuality.

Aww that is so sweet. <3 It is really sad how oftentimes the older cats get overlooked in shelters due to not being shiny, new kittens. A few years back my cat Opie went missing (probably killed by raccoons) and someone called about my "Lost Cat" sign with an orange stray they found in their yard. While the cat wasn't Opie and only lived a few months in my parents care (due to my roommates hating the cats bowel problem) I know we improved his quality of life and he was loved and adored in that short time. <3
And yes! AMAZING pattern! My Mom used to be big into cross stitch but mostly does quilting now. I might need to send your pattern to her and be like "Make this since it is brilliance to the 10th degree!"
