- Man walking what appeared to be a wolf on a leash. Seriously. It looked just like this.
- People out on the pier getting their wedding photos taken… with a view of the ship yard behind them.
- (Serious business) Old man walking his old cat on a hot pink leash. Cat seductively stretched out for me. (was awesome!)
- Another serious business old man walking his small dog which was in a zebra print coat.
- Parents in lawn chairs in a shitty patch of beach of the Sound as their kids splashed around (assumedly wishing it was a real beach).
- Old woman with a mullet with what would normally be regular pants but instead rendered high-waters by the height in which they were pulled up. This was topped off by a neon-green shirt.
- Cougar taking her at least fifteen-year younger boy toy for a walk.
- Four twenty-something girls wearing bright neon long-haired wigs.
- Parents concerned with taking off their shoes as they got into the mini-van as they left their toddler in their stroller on the other side of the car. Alone.
- Kids on bikes behind brother and self making police-like sounds in turn making me feel not pursued by cops but rather by a wide load siren following close behind. Said child also was muttering about rocket boosters as he darted on his bike in front of a van in the road.
- Father screaming at his child for holding rocks as they waited to cross the street with us. Not awkward at all.

Exactly why you should have to pass a written exam to own animals. Or children for that matter.
I couldn’t agree more Jay. I admit I laughed that the animals came before children.
(although I don’t have children and only pets I have to agree with the order).
Just wait till you have kids, judgemental little missy.
I certainly wouldn’t leave them on the other side of the car in a busy parking lot in an empty space. But that’s just me. Course, I’m not a parent so of course I don’t know these things.
