The Author

My name is Anne and this is my blog. I’m a twenty-five year old living out the dream in the majestic Pacific Northwest. While I grew up in this beautiful area I haven’t always lived here. In the archives you’ll read about me living in Phoenix, Arizona for a year and Jacksonville, Florida for another year. I’m kind of a nomad but I guess that goes with the art degree. I live in my brother’s basement with my boyfriend and a bunch of animals. You’ll probably read a lot about our cats: Bucky, Brutus, and Blue. I’m about one step away from being crazy cat lady but that’s okay: everyone’s got to have a habit. We also have a sugar glider, eleven fish, and recently got three hens. It should be noted that I used to fear chickens so it’s quite amusing watching me try to interact with them. My life is controlled chaos and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m the youngest of six children and the only girl. With that sentence alone you should understand why I am weird and have such a quirky sense of humor.

Here you will read about my life in detail from my travels around the country (and world!), to my newfound unemployment, and the struggles of being a twenty-something year old who has a tendency to be her own worse critique.

I work freelance and am trying to find myself a place in this world. I play and learn. I love to travel and adore sleeping in. This is my blog. This is my life.

“WhoahGirl?”

I went to art school. That said, it’s not that I can’t spell, but that I am “creative” which often translates to “eccentric”. For some reason I have always liked spelling “whoa” as “whoah”. Perhaps since it puts more emphasis on the depth of the whoa-ness of it all.
