Off to Nashville

We’re off to Nashville, Tennessee for a convention this weekend. Seeing as it is a hacker convention for me to blog/login to anything via the web while we are away would be very, very stupid indeed. Seeing as this is going to be our first time in Nashville: any suggestions of places to see/go? I’ll be sightseeing on Saturday while Mack is geeking out so any suggestions would be amazing.

As a parting gift: an interesting article called “Web Design at 65 MPH: A Family of Web Workers Hits the Road“. My friend linked on twitter and is a very interesting read.

Is it bad I don’t trust my new desk from IKEA since I put the legs together? I kind of have this overwhelming fear that it’s going to break while I’m using it.

Same with the bed. I put together a few pieces of the bed frame and keep waiting for it to break and Mack and I to go shooting to the ground.

Faith in my own skills? I don’t have them.

These online dating sitesÂ commercialsÂ really make me hate online dating. Makes me think people who do it are tools which makes me in turn feel like a tool since that is how I met Mack.

STOP PUTTING TOOLS IN YOURÂ COMMERCIALS!

Or at least cut the bullshit of “I met my soulmate” or “I didn’t know what true happiness was until I met them”.Â

Seriously, what is the big deal about Miley Cyrus? Why do all the tweens swoon over her/want to be her/would knife a ho to get a ticket to one of her concerts?
